This A.D.L. designed dredge, which is one of four supplied to West Africa, is fitted with an overburden stripping facility and A.D.L. Pacemaker which faciliatates instananeous accurate bucket speed adjustment thus ensuring constant optimum loading of the treament plant with resultant maximum recovery efficiency.
The A.D.L. designed dredge built in Brazil has a larger than normal primary jig bed area to ensure maximum recovery efficiency of diamonds in the 1mm to 19mm size range. Fine gold, which is also present in this propety, is recovered by a separate jig circuit.
This spcially 4,5 cu. ft. Lobnitz Dredge was supplied to the Magadi Soda Co. for dredging Trona in Lake Magadi, East Africa. Equipped with breakers and crushing rolls, the Trona is broken down to 3,8" size and pumped through a pipeline 1500 feet long to a shore treatment plant for processing into soda ash.

A.D.L. Cutter Suction Dredges incorporate a large number of well proven components and are designed to comply with the specific requirements of the client's project.
These dredges with their high hourly throughputs are ideally suited for stripping barren overburden associated with certain alluvial mining projects.
Dredge can be fitted with either walking or fixed spud arrangements. All winches and the cutter are hydraulically powered, and, with the ladder mounted, electrically powered dredge pump, are controlled from the operator's compact cabin.
The complete dredge is constructed in modular form to minimise site construction time and can be supplied as a turnkey project or designed to mazimise indigenous supply components if so required.
